The beautiful Beth Orton is playing at the Gov on Feb 13... tickets are about $43.

I'll take one, thanks. How exciting! I'm convinced that she and I would be friends; maybe I'll catch up with her after the show. :)

[An LA sound]

My boss Chris kindly gave me Donald Fagen's The Nightfly for Christmas. I must say that it is really quite groovy, definitely daggy and certainly somewhat addictive. Apparently he was in Steely Dan, if that means anything to you.

Also listening to Lauryn Hill Unplugged and Handsome Boy Modelling School So... How's your girl? quite a lot. I've undergone a resurgence of interest in hip hop, which has heavily influenced my CD programming.
