[Good/Bad]

There's good news and bad news. The bad news is that my acquisition of The Covers Record has fallen through, for the time being. The good news is that today Lisa gave me the Joni Mitchell CD The hissing of summer lawns. How brilliant.

[Groovy]

My Groovy series of compilation CDs has brought untold joy to countless millions (well...), and now the wondrous Pippa has introduced them to the international audience!

Apparently she played them on one of the hostel stereos, and they were an absolute hit – evidently I am to expect orders from as far away as Sweden and California. (Although I doubt it.) The best news is that Groovy 7 is waiting in the wings, almost ready to be unleashed upon the world.

[New, new, new]

Sounding like a lovely hybrid of Manitoba, Stina Nordenstam and Boards of Canada, it would seem that Múm will be occupying my CD player a lot over the next few weeks. Also claiming a spot will be the terrific Verve//Unmixed CD, which is another one of Deb's albums that I might try to steal.
